“Millions of Americans, including more than 15 million children, will go hungry starting this week. It is a moral scandal and an affront to our Unitarian Universalist (UU) values of interdependence and generosity." - UUA

Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. reminds us that “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.”

If your heart is saddened by pending crisis of more than 15 million children going hungry, please don’t only shake your head or complain. Please take ACTION.

(1) Donate to one of the congregations listed in this “In Good Faith” article by the UUA

(2) Collaborate with a neighborhood organization who is donating food, or simply

(3) donate to your neighborhood food pantry

(4) One more thing, don’t forget to 🔥VOTE🔥

You may not have given birth to these children who will be impacted. You may never see their faces. But I hope you feel for them and for our country.

They may not be your children, but they are all OUR children. If our current administration won’t feed them, let’s help. No child deserves to go hungry. Mitigating this crisis starts with us. Amen.
