“Ceviche Criminal”: Use Your Advantages to Your Advantage

When was the last time you smiled this much at work? This guy smiled through most of this video; you can tell he’s having a good time!

Life is too short not to enjoy your work. This isn’t just about what you’re doing, but where.

Culture matters.

We often think of large organizations as the standard, but there’s nothing like the freedom of expression, authenticity, and deep relationships that can often be more easily fostered in small businesses. Small businesses in fact employ more people than large organizations.

A nimble, small business can jump onto a trend (Michael Jackson, for example) and reap the rewards immediately. On top of that, they can do so with little out of pocket costs and unmatched speed.

On the other hand, a large organization would likely have to go through a bunch of red tape and spend a tremendous amount of money to make the same thing happen.

Lead where you are. Use your advantages, to your advantage.

If you’re leading a large organization, where can you streamline decision making and make things nimbler and more experimental?

If you’re leading a small business, how might you step outside your comfort zone to get attention on your product?

Is this video perfect? No, the timing is off a bit and so on and so forth.

Are people loving this video? YES. Over 253.4k likes on Tic Toc.

I also noticed he has one other person in this video; who probably also served as the camera man.

𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱?

🍋‍🟩 Don’t let perfection keep you from execution.

🍋‍🟩 Don’t do it alone. All you might need is just 1 other person, if that. But do get help.

🍋‍🟩 If you’re not having a little fun at work, how might you add a little fun today?

🍋‍🟩 Use your advantages to your advantage.
