My 17-year-old cat Xena, communicates her wants and needs ☺️
As they say, “The squeaky wheel gets the grease!”
I agree.
Speak up for what you want.
💕Surround yourself with people who love and cherish you.
They will find joy in giving you your heart’s desire, no matter how silly or quirky that desire is.
Don’t assume others know what you need.
Don’t be afraid to ask for what you want.
💕When you surround yourself with people who care, you are more likely to be cared for.
How is it that “animal people” or as in my case, a “cat lady” - can understand what my furry family member needs? How, when we don’t speak the same language?
Or do we?
Compassionate Empathy doesn’t require speaking the same language or being from the same culture.
Compassionate Empathy doesn’t even require being from the same species!
It requires genuine care.
It requires treating those you serve as if their inherent worth and dignity matter.
Let’s prioritize exercising our leadership skills in compassionate empathy.
Everyone and everything benefit when we prioritize compassionate empathy in the workplace, academia, and in our non-profits communities. 💕
✅ If this resonates with you, invite me to speak to your professors, supervisors, team leaders, or aspiring leaders for a Lunch-and-Learn, Keynote, or Sermon on 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆: 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀.
I’m also available to facilitate my unique 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝘅𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴. I believe that the best leaders are proactive in preventing sexual harassment. My training satisfies compliance requirements in all states, mitigates risk, and nurtures a healthier workplace. My curriculum includes examples and guidance that lifts the wide spectrum of diversity into its scenarios and best practices.
This includes but isn’t limited to gender identity, sexual orientation, neurodivergence, ethnicity, lifestyle, and those living with disabilities. Representation matters. Live, inclusive sexual harassment prevention training can be more meaningful and effective than generic, click-button, self-paced online experiences. This is offered live in person or virtually.
