Jesus's Birth and Life Are Worthy of Celebration

...A Christmas Reflection on Jesus

𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀’𝘀 𝗯𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

In both his words and his deeds, he centered Love.

Jesus stood up for oppressed people…Jewish people, poor people, people with disabilities, and people who were wrongly accused.

Jesus showed love to those who others shunned because they thought certain people didn’t deserve mercy or healing.

Jesus is the epitome of what it means to center Love and fight for justice.

Jesus is a prophetic leader, ally, and an instrument of the divine.

Jesus is a moral example how to treat others with dignity, and challenge the status quo.

Jesus showed us the joy and the pain of finding our own truth and meaning despite the pressure and threats from those in power.

I invite you to meditate on hope, peace, joy, love….and the light within us which we offer to the world.
