VALUES DRIVEN ORGANIZATIONAL INNOVATION
Serving HigherEdu., Gov't., & Nonprofits and Unitarian Universalist communities
I help organizations thrive through leadership development, self-care, and positive change.
🪻As a clinical sociologist and educator, I am excited about opportunities to teach in classrooms or speak at events. When I'm not teaching and speaking, I enjoy facilitating organizational effectiveness and learning culture.
I prefer data-informed solutions when supporting management interventions. I love all things leadership development, and I appreciate meaningful, mission driven priorities.
Invite me to help overcome organizational challenges, retain your people, or teach your students!
If you’re ready to overcome organizational challenges and retain your people or engage your members, reach out to me today by email or through LinkedIn. I’d love to connect. 💞.
It has been a joy to serve as a guest speaker, strategic advisor, panel member, moderator or presenter at countless events. I especially enjoy teaching courses in higher education institutions. I have a combined 9 years of adjunct instruction in higher education, teaching over twenty different courses at four institutions. I am always looking for opportunities to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in-person, virtually, or hybrid.
I serve by helping individuals and organizations thrive. I support higher education, government, and nonprofit social justice organizations in applying strategies to adapt and thrive.
Additionally, I enjoy helping organizations fulfill compliance requirements for sexual harassment training, advise boards, facilitate career and employment workshops, contribute to the discourse on social issues, and teaching within higher education.
I especially enjoy working with future oriented perpetual learners, who are open-minded, and excited about innovative solutions and new ways of being.
Some words of wisdom I embrace are:
“You cannot solve a problem with the same mind that created it.”
— Albert Einstein
“Knowing is not enough, you must apply; willing is not enough, you must do.”
— Bruce Lee
“If you want to learn to swim, jump into the water. On dry land no frame of mind is ever going to help you.”
— Bruce Lee
“We can’t become what we need to be by remaining what we are.”
— Oprah Winfrey
Values:
-
Interdependence that we are stronger together when all voices are valued and included.
-
Transformation – an openness to change, innovate, and grow together.
-
Generosity through our community of communities. Sharing resources, cultivating gratitude, and practicing active hope in the missions and visions of our organizations and our own hearts.
